Through creative enquiry, ākonga will investigate museum artefacts, taonga, traditional tools, and models of structures. They will consider what these were made from, how they may have been used, and what they reveal about life in traditional times. Ākonga will leave with a deeper appreciation of Māori ingenuity and fresh ideas about using resources wisely, caring for te taiao, and how these practices can support a thriving future for communities.
