About the programme

How can we experience and respond to art through all our senses?

Give your students the opportunity to connect with art in an interactive and meaningful way through our lesson specially designed for Learning Support groups. Students will engage with selected artworks in the gallery through touch, sound, movement, and visual exploration, encouraging discovery through multiple sensory pathways.

This sessions support holistic self-expression, inviting students to respond creatively and emotionally to what they encounter. Activities are gentle, flexible, and responsive, enabling each learner to build confidence and connect in ways that suit them.

In the Learning Centre, students will create their own sensory artworks using tactile materials, sound, and texture, or work together on a collaborative piece inspired by their gallery experience.

Our gallery educators will work closely with you to tailor the visit to your group’s needs, ensuring a positive, inclusive, and meaningful experience for all.
